Ivo Boudrie (1970) studied Dutch law at Utrecht University.
Early in his legal career Ivo served as counsel of record for VBM/NOV, the largest trade union for defence personnel, in The Hague. He has been practising law since 1999. In previous years he worked in the Employment Law and Employee Participation Practice Group of a large international law firm. Ivo joined DingemansVanderKind as a partner in 2004.
Ivo specialises in individual dismissal law and collective employment law, supervises corporate restructuring and reorganisation processes and frequently represents company directors in dismissal cases. He also advises works councils on employee participation issues.
Ivo successfully completed the post-academic specialisation course in employment law at the Grotius Academy. In addition to running an employment law practice, Ivo frequently contributes to employment law courses for HR officers and lawyers. He lectured at the VU Law Academy in Amsterdam and currently he is teaching at SDU the course Employment and social security.
Ivo is registered as a mediator with the Dutch Mediators Federation (Mediatorsfederatie Nederland, MfN). In this capacity, he mainly mediates in labour and employee participation issues and disputes.
