Dingemans

Charlotte Dingemans (1966) graduated in Dutch law from the University of Amsterdam. She started her legal career with a large international firm. In early 2001, she founded DingemansVanderKind, together with Olav van der Kind.

In het practice, Charlotte deals with every aspect of employment law. Her main focus is on employee participation, reorganisations and advice and litigation in individual dismissal cases for both employers and employees/directors. Charlotte regularly advises on complex industrial relations at Board level. She is particularly intrigued by cases involving the disentanglement of shareholdership relationships, financial supervision (Standards for Remuneration Act (WNT) and/or the Financial Supervision Act (WfT)) and cross-border behaviour. Charlotte sees the added value of mediation in the many cases she brings to a solution with the help of a mediator. Her years of experience and negotiation skills come into their own in this process.

Charlotte has held administrative positions within employment law and the theater sector for many years. For example, for a considerable time she was chairman of the national specialization association Dutch Employment Lawyers Association (VAAN) and board member of Amsterdam Employment Lawyers Association e.o. (VAAA). She is currently a board member of Stichting Labour Law United (LLU), an alliance of several labour law associations. LLU aims to create a community of labour law professionals in which knowledge is shared and disseminated. She is a member of VAAN, VAAA, European Employment Law Association (EELA) and Employment Law Association (VvA).

In the practice areas register of the Netherlands Bar, Charlotte is registered in the following main and (sub) practice areas: Employment law - sub: employee participation, collective dismissal and international employment law.
