On October 5, 2023, the DVDK seminar took place again at EYE. With on the agenda: the consequences for your company of the ESG Directive, which comes into force on January 1, 2024, dealing with transgressive behavior in the workplace, recent and future developments of the non-competition clause, practical tips and tricks in reorganizations and current Supreme Court rulings.

After a career in science and politics, Ilse Zaal (b. 1982) will choose the legal profession as of Oct. 1.

Comments on articles 7:670, 7:672 and 7:674 to 7:676 of the Civil Code

Nils has been a regular author of SDU Commentaar Artikelgewijs since 2013. In his latest contribution of 2023, he provides an explanation of: article 7:670 BW which contains the various notice prohibitions, article 7:672 BW which regulates the notice periods, article 7:674 BW which regulates what happens if the employee dies and article 7:675 BW which describes the death of employer and its possible effect on the employment contract. Finally, Nils has written an explanation of Section 7:676 of the Civil Code which regulates dismissal during the probationary period.

On April 20, 2023, the DVDK seminar took place again at EYE. With on the agenda: the new Whistleblowers Protection Act, the range of parental leave after all the recent changes, the difference between suspending and stopping salary payment in case of illness, the Equal Opportunities in Recruitment and Selection Oversight Bill and, of course, the consequences of the Supreme Court ruling in the Deliveroo case.
