Seminar at EYE

Olav van der Kind started the seminar with a discussion of recent case law on dismissal law, particularly on summary dismissal and dissolution of the employment contract. Robbert-Jan Bree then quizzed participants on the differences between some employment law concepts (e.g., notice and notice, suspension and suspension from employment, and second opinion and expert opinion). The main points of the draft competition bill were then discussed by Charlotte Dingemans. Finally, as usual, our professor Prof. Ruben Houweling concluded the seminar, this time discussing the always tricky but therefore interesting topic of "vacation and working hours.
